Deliverables
Deliverables are the highest level of atomic work that is being asked of you or your team to complete. For example, a Demo, Proof of Concept (POC), or Request for Proposal (RFP). A deliverable can require multiple tasks or multiple people across teams to complete. Deliverables can relate to Accounts, Opportunities, or nothing at all (such as Event Staffing). Deliverables can also have many related Hero Activities such as: Research, Internal Meeting, Build, Presentation, Travel, and more.
Add New Deliverables:
Navigate to Setup > Configuration > Deliverables.
Click + Add New.
Label - Name of the Deliverable.
Optional: Description - Information about the Deliverable.
Click Save.
Edit Deliverables:
Navigate to Setup > Configuration > Deliverables.
Click pencil icon to edit the Deliverable.
Click Lock.
Edit Default Hero Activities and Custom Fields within each Deliverable:
Navigate to Setup > Configuration > Deliverables.
Click ⚙ to make any of the following changes:
Default Hero Activities Field
Add: Click + Add New Field.
Reorder: Click vertical dots to drag and drop in a new order.
Deactivate: Click X.
Custom Fields
Add: Click + Add New Field.
Reorder: Click vertical dots to drag and drop in a new order.
Deactivate: Click X.
Hero Activity
Hero Activities represent the effort or time it takes to complete an assigned work product, such as a Deliverable. A single Deliverable can have many Hero Activities logged from a single user, or multiple activities logged across multiple users. Every Hero Activity should be associated with a Deliverable. Hero Activities can be associated with a Deliverable, Account, Opportunity, or nothing at all.
Example: An SC may be asked to help out with marketing events and should log this as a Hero Activity. Since this is not related directly to an Account or Opportunity, the association can be left blank.
Create New Hero Activities:
Navigate to Setup > Configuration > Hero Activity.
Click + Add new.
Enter Default Hours.
Select Custom Fields.
Click Save.
Edit Existing Hero Activities:
Navigate to Setup > Configuration > Hero Activity.
Click to edit the label or description.
Click Lock.
Clickto update the Default Hours or add new Custom Fields.
Click to rearrange the Hero Activity.
Deactivate the Hero Activity by clicking X.
