Add Filters to Vivun Dashboards in Salesforce

Learn how to add filters to Vivun Dashboards in Salesforce Classic or Salesforce Lightning.

Adding filters to Vivun Dashboards in Salesforce provides the ability to cut data by the dimensions that matter the most to the organization. While there are many important filters that can be added, Vivun recommends adding Product Line, Product Area and Feature Group (if applicable) to the Vivun Product Dashboard to begin.

Add Filters in Salesforce Classic

  1. Login to Salesforce.

  2. Navigate to Dashboards.

  3. Select Vivun Product Dashboard.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Click Add Filter.

  6. Enter the following:

    • Field - Select the field to add the filter.

    • Display Label - Autofills based on the field.

    • Filter Options

      • Use the Operator dropdown to set the operator

      • Set a Group Name to group values

      • Set a Value name

  7. Click Add Row to add additional filters.

  8. Click OK once the fields are set.

Add Filters in Salesforce Lightning

  1. Login to Salesforce.

  2. Using the App Launcher select the Vivun app.

  3. Click the Dashboards tab.

  4. Click the Vivun Product Dashboard.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Click + Filter.

  7. Fill in the following fields:

    • Field: Select the desired field to add the Filter to

    • Display Name: That is autofilled based on the Field

    • Filter Values: click Add Filter Value to add multiple Filter Values

  8. Click + Filter.

  9. Click Save once done adding filters.
    ​Note: You can rename Dashboards by clicking the dropdown next to Save and selecting Save As.
